Organizational and regulating laws
The most important are the following:
- Decree no. 279/N.I. dated 16 April 1943, defining the prerogatives of the Minister of Foreign Affa
- Presidential decree no. 855 dated 17 March 1944 setting up the rules for the first national competition for civil servants to fill in vacancies in the posts created for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- Law of the 10th of June 1944, entitled "List of fees to be collected by Legations and Consulates".
- Decree no. 1668 dated August 2nd, 1944, regarding the Protocol of the Presidency of the Republic.
- Decree no. 2389 dated December 5th, 1944, organizing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and which became the basis for all following pertinent decrees, the latest being decree no. 1306 dated June, 18th, 1971. More…
